As we prepare for Japan, we are constantly reminded of this truth: where there is God’s will, there is always His way. And often, His way includes the beautiful gift of people walking alongside you.

This season, that gift looks like Nathan’s lifelong friend, Jonathan Elliot.

Nathan and Jonathan have shared many years of friendship — rooted in faith, sharpened by life experience, and strengthened through seasons of growth. There is something powerful about childhood friendships that mature into brotherhood in Christ. Jonathan is not just a friend coming along for a trip; he is a true man of God, committed to walking in obedience wherever the Lord leads.

Jonathan brings a unique strength to this journey through his knowledge and experience in magnetic fields and technical systems. In ways that are both practical and spiritual, he pours into us deeply — offering insight, wisdom, and encouragement, and just as we pour into him, he pours into us, often even more.

We believe ministry is never meant to be carried alone. Ecclesiastes 4:9–10 reminds us:

“Two are better than one… For if they fall, one will lift up his companion.”

God is weaving together friendships, skills, and hearts for His purpose in Japan. Watching Nathan walk alongside a brother in Christ who shares his devotion and integrity is such a blessing to our family. It strengthens our mission and reminds us that God builds teams — not just individuals.

As we step forward in faith, we trust that the Lord is aligning every detail. He provides the vision, the provision, and the people.

And when it’s His will — He truly makes a way.
